Finally Resurfacing

Ok, time to lift the self-imposed moratorium on blogging. While I haven't been very active here, I have been working on festival follow-up as well as attending to the many other neglected parts of my life, both professional and personal.

Needless to say, the 2006 Machinima Festival was a hit, from various POVs: the press attention was phenomenal (with various, articles, along, the way), the quality of the panels and presentations were excellent, the 2006 Mackies were a blast (!) and the sense of community was stronger than ever - which, to me, was the real measure of success. We're already considering the next festival (and have our notes to show what worked, what didn't) and will be strategizing our approach soon. Not sure how it will all shape up, but we're open to any and all comments you may have (a reply here or to my mail - over yonder on the right =>).
